Two inspiring podcast episodes were developed as part of the CGC-DigiTrans project, showcasing real-life applications of the Roundabout for Digital Transformation methodology in career guidance and counselling. In these interviews, professionals from Italy and Germany share insights from piloting the method in practice and reflect on how it can support diverse clients in developing relevant digital competences.

Episode 1 – Piloting the Roundabout in Italy: A Structured, Human-Centered Approach
In this episode, Dr. Rita Zarbo, psychologist, career counsellor and Assistant Professor at University of Enna Kore (Italy), shares her experience piloting the CGC Roundabout methodology with two clients: a university student struggling with digital tools and a young mother transitioning to a teaching career. She highlights the value of structured yet flexible counselling sessions, the importance of involving support networks, and the empowering impact of the roundabout model.

Episode 2 – Piloting the Roundabout in Germany: A Multi-Actor Case with Tangible Results
In this episode, Prof. Dr. Matthias Vowell interviews Jenny Schulz from the University of Applied Labour Studies (Germany). They explore a case study involving a single mother, Mrs. Kazan, who re-entered the job market as a classroom assistant. The counselling process involved not only the client and the career counsellor but also a prospective employer and a training provider. This multi-actor collaboration allowed the process to be more tailored, accelerated, and responsive to the client’s needs and labour market realities.
